Becoming Adolf

In Becoming Adolf Rich Colen had combined his research with his personal story. After watching Bill O'Rielly interview Richard Dawkins he had come to wonder about Stalin and Hitler and how the toothbrush mustashe had become a symbol for evil. In his research he explained the origins of the toothbrush mustashe as well as how Hitler had come to use wear it. He had become obsessed with Hitler and how him having something as simple as a mustashe could be used in such a way. Colen had wanted to take back the mustashe, wanted to be able to wear it out in public so that people could get use to it once again, hoping that the more people who saw it, the more the mustashe would lose its power and reputation. His combination helps you to understand that you cant just wear the mustashe and not expect negativatey from others.

I believe Colen learns that some things run too deep for you to be able to change things; the Hitler toothbrush mustashe happens to be one of those things. Even though its been decades since Hitler was around, and the massive negative controlling influence that came with him, in many people, emotional wounds are still trying to heal.
