Becoming Adolf

Becoming Adolf by Rich Cohen is a story about the toothbrush mustache worn by Hitler and the role it still plays today. Rich Cohen tells about the background of the mustache and questions if it was the cause of his behavior. In the end he wears the mustache himself but finds that only Hitler can ever wear it.
Cohen combines personal research and research from history by growing a Hitler mustache. It shows how much of an impact Hitler did still to this day. Cohen would get looks and he'd leave impressions on many people in New York. He learned that he can't own it, it will always be Hitler's mustache. I learned that his mustache really had an impact because president's never wore facial hair after Hitler or pretty much anyone after WWII because people will think you're him.
