lauren slater was useing those words to show how kim the camp teacher was great at what she did no matter that she feared the thoguht of taking the jump she did it anyway . because she loved it and she got a rush out of doing what she does best.
i think she was useing way forward because it was saying that she got to move on with her life and she was able to let go and her and rain both got over there fears. she was able to do somthing that made her happy.
