TrippLake

On p. 244 "her face a mixture ...mastery the author is trying to show that just because there is mastery in something doesn t always mean that fear cannot still be present. Both terror and fear possess her and this is shown. What should be understood from this though is that truely getting over your fear is what is important. By getting over her fear and realizing she can still master the art with that presence of fear still there, she gets the horse to jump.

The way forward is simply overcoming what fear is still present. Even though the fear may still always be a thought in her mind she will always go back to a time where she actually overcame these fears and use that to help her, find the way forward.
